Setting AVTech DVR Standalone Remote View
: Step by step setting up remote viewing for AVTech DVR standalone.
Settings on DVR:
: Some settings on AVTech DVR standalone.
1. Press "Menu" button, select "ADVANCE".

2. Select "NETWORK".
3. Select "STATIC".
- DNS: Put your DNS server address.
- Port: Specify a port for DVR. (Default is 80)
4. Specify an IP Address for DVR. (Need used with port forwarding)
Register Free Domain(DynDns):
: Register and create an free domain.
1.Go to www.dydns.com, click "Create Account"
2. Login with your account, click on "My Account" on your left,
then select "Add Host Services".
3. On the Add New Hostname page:
- 1: Key in a name of your hostname.
- 2: Choose a domain name(usual use dyndns.org, mine.nu, homeip.net, and etc.)
- 3. Click "Use auto detected IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
- 4: Click "Create Host" to finnish. (Leave other else settings as default) 
Configuring on Router:
: Add the domain hostname into router and create port forwarding.
Add Hostname into Router:
1. Go to router setting page, find and select "Dynamic DNS" or "DDNS" option.
: Some router may no this option, old firmware, or not supported.
- DDNS Server: Choose "www.dyndns.org"
- Username: Your DynDns account name.
- Password: Your DynDns account password.
- Hostname: Your DynDns hostname you'd just created.
Click apply to done.
* This DynDns setting guide is for D-Link router. Other brand of the routers' setting may vary.
Configuring Port Forwarding on Router:
: Set a port to allow DVR access from the internet.
: Select your router brands.
: Aztech 605EU, ER
: Aztech 600E/EU (Old Firmware)
: D-Link 520T, 504T, 500T
: D-Link 604 (Old Firmware)
: Linksys router
- You can test your DVR Remote view from now on.
- You also can use 3rd party software(Server E) to view.
* You cannot test remote view on same router. Otherwise, go to your router page.
